HOTEL CONTINENTAL

Overlooking lake Garda West shore, in the historical centre of Sirmione, the Continental Hotel is located at the end of the narrow peninsula stretching into the lake. Completely renovated, the hotel retains some of its traditional festures to preserve its history. Among these are several late '50s Murano glass chandeliers, black and white polished marble floors at lobby level, an impressive white marble staircase.

Overlooking the Grand Canal, near the main terminals, at only 15 minutes from the celebrated Rialto Bridge, the Continental offers the privileges of never ended traditions personally assured from the third generation Hotel owners. Thanks to wise restoration the original atmosphere of the XIVcentury palace, that was one of the administrative departments of the Spanish Embassy at the time of the Venetian Republic "Serenissima", remains intact. The Continental has 93 recently renovated rooms all with air conditionning with individual control, private bath, hair dryer, telephone, safe, color TV with remote control and a 16 channel satellite system. The hotel also has a private landing stage and terraces overlooking the Grand Canal. The Restaurant with two evocative terraces on the Grand Canal is able to offer an International cuisine or traditional dishes in which the pleasure of the taste has been maintained without any compromise.
