Point of interest
Sirmione and Lake Garda are unique destinations for those who want to combine the pleasure of a relaxing holiday with interesting cultural visits. The climate is perfect all the year round: the summer is never too stifling and thanks to its micro-climate, the winter is never too cold. There are numerous artistic towns near Sirmione: Brescia, Mantua and Verona, but also Milan and Venice. Tourists can enjoy the tranquillity of the lake and enjoy stimulating cultural visits to the nearest art centres.
The Consorzio Riviera del Garda e Colline Moreniche was founded in 2004: the municipalities of Desenzano, Lonato, Padenghe, Pozzolengo and Sirmione, together with the hotels, tourist consortia and operators in the area, set up the Consortium to advertise the resources of the area at national and international level.
From this venture sprang the trekking project that links five Municipalities with circular routes, joining the area through three theme routes to be discovered on foot or by bike, motor-bike or car
