An exciting online photograph challenge is taking place on the shores of Lake Garda: the Block Notes Photo Contest, part of the 2026 edition of the prestigious Sirmione Photography Award. Following the success of the TEENS Photo Marathon on April 19, it’s now time to delve into the beauty of nature through its fundamental forces.<\/p>\n
Divided into four themed weeks, the Block Notes Photo Contest invites participants to explore and capture four crucial elements: EARTH, WATER, AIR, and FIRE.<\/p>\n
During each week, contestants can submit a photo related to one of the assigned themes, offering creative and original interpretations. There are no limits to creativity, which can be expressed in physical, symbolic, or emotional forms.<\/p>\n
It’s important to note that photos can be taken anywhere and there is no specific requirement to be linked to Sirmione or Lake Garda. The jury will evaluate each individual image weekly, but paying attention to the coherence and overall narrative of the four photos will be essential for the final verdict.<\/p>\n
Participants can compete for free by submitting their photos by 11:59 PM every Sunday. Weekly rewards include visits to the Grotte di Catullo, while the grand prize will be a two-night stay in Sirmione for two people, including bed and breakfast.<\/p>\n
