Lugana Festival is a celebration born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Sirmione and the Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC, aiming to showcase and enhance a territory through the authentic expression of Lugana wine. The first edition, scheduled from October 16th to 19th, 2026, promises a four-day journey through wine, culture, music, gastronomy, and landscape.

Tasting a glass of Lugana represents more than just sampling a wine. It means delving into the land of its origin, meeting the producers, understanding the local traditions, and traversing a landscape that connects different places, communities, and identities from the lower Garda region.

Conceived as a widespread festival, it will involve the historical center of Sirmione and the districts of Colombare and Lugana, transforming squares, palaces, venues, and wineries into places of encounter and discovery. Wine will be the common thread through which to explore the surroundings: the landscape, culture, gastronomy, and the individuals shaping its identity.

The program will feature masterclasses and gatherings at the Lugana Hub in Palazzo Callas, tastings and meetings with producers, masterclasses led by professional sommeliers, visits, tastings at participating wineries, and live concerts. A shuttle service will allow the public to travel from Sirmione to the Lugana wineries, turning tasting into a genuine experience of territorial knowledge. Among the special events, there will be a contest dedicated to local chefs, tasked with interpreting Lugana through their own gastronomic creation.
