We are excited to present the theatrical performance The March Lions, written and performed by Diego Belli, taking place on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 8:45 PM at the Municipal Library of Sirmione. Directed by Fausto Ghirardini and produced by Viandanze Teatro, this event offers free admission with online reservation required to secure a seat.
The show narrates the story of 1150 residents of Brescia who bravely defended the city for 10 days against the Austrian soldiers’ siege in March 1849. Through the actor’s portrayal, the audience is taken on a journey through the emotions, challenges, and hopes experienced during those critical days. An intense testimony providing a close look at daily life, the quest for freedom, and the struggles of a young man immersed in Italy’s 19th-century history.
