The Sigurtà Park, 560,000 square meters of extension,
is considered by botanists internationally acclaimed one of the most extraordinary in the world. It extends into the interland of Lake Garda at the edge of the moraine hills around the valley of the Mincio river from which traditionally draws the water. The park was originally the garden of Villa Maffei, what was in 1859 the headquarters of Napoleon III. It takes its current name from Dr. Carlo Sigurtà who bought it in 1941 and took care of for over forty years making the lush arid hillside. The Sigurtà Park was opened to the public in 1978 for suggestive visits among the many varieties of flowers and the wonderful views. Today, it also boasts a 600 square meters and 500 seats where you can organize meetings, conventions and events.
