Passage of the most beautiful race in the world in Sirmione on Saturday 19 June
1000 Miglia 2021, with a completely new route, will again pass through the peninsula. The first to pass will be the Ferraris of the Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia at 12.00; the electric cars of the 1000 Miglia Green will follow and then, around 1.45 pm, the transit of the historic cars will begin. The cars will arrive from Peschiera and then head towards the historic center for the time control in piazzale Porto, in front of the castle. Return to Colombare, they will continue towards Desenzano.
Traffic changes:
Piazzale Porto and the first part of Lungolago Diaz will be completely closed to traffic from 00:00 on Friday 18 June to 20:00 on Saturday 19 June and in any case at the end of the passage of the cars.
Via Todeschino will not be accessible from 12:00 on Saturday 19 June towards Piazza Unità d’Italia starting from Via Alfieri to avoid entering the flow of cars in the race.
The traffic coming from Peschiera will be diverted to via 1866, while that coming from Desenzano will be diverted to via the European Community.
The only viable access road to the historic center will be viale Matteotti and via Bagnera.
Lugana can be accessed via via San Martino.
