Public Art in Sirmione, by Lillo Marciano. An unusual exhibition of works of art, sculptures but not limited to, the streets of the old town by the Brescia Marble Consortium.
An artistic journey that leads us to reflect on the big theme “CiboMente” handle off theme of EXPO 2015 “Feeding the planet, energy for life”. As you can feed the planet? Through culture, the art, that can conquer with its beauty as the sculpture “Life Energy” or indignant and cause as the surreal “New Babylon”, which in the amenity of the park Callas, reminds us of the ugliness, to which the our company bends, bringing out, after the anger, the desire for change.

VIII International exhibition of sculptures by the Brescia Marble Consortium
Sirmione throughout the summer will be ‘the fascinating scenery of’ edition of the annual exhibition of sculptures Stone & Co., Created by Brescia Marble Consortium and edited by Lillo Marciano. The exhibition includes works dedicated to sculpture and installations artists, including major international exponents of contemporary sculpture, sculptors significant in the world of stone and interesting
emerging artists, all invited to interact with nature, squares, picturesque streets, gardens and beaches of the place. A spectacular walk through sculptures and installations that enhances the beauty of the places and creativity ‘of the artists for a stimulating cultural dimension to
outside the places designated and limited art, such as museums and galleries. The underlying theme of the project and ‘exploitation and the rediscovery of story stone Brescia as artistic and cultural heritage of the future.
